AFP Imaging Completes International Distribution Arrangements For "The Wand-TM" -- A Virtually Painless Anesthetic Delivery System.

ELMSFORD, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 17, 1999--AFP Imaging (NASDAQ:AFPC) and Milestone Scientific, Inc, (AMEX:MS) today announced that they had entered into an agreement for the international distribution by DENT-X, the dental division of AFP Imaging, for "The Wand" which is Milestone's computer controlled, precision metered, local anesthetic injection system. AFP will utilize its well-established, world-wide distribution network of dealers for its dental and medical imaging products, intraoral video cameras, digital x-ray systems and other dental products. Under the arrangements, Milestone would continue to be responsible for distribution of "The Wand" in the United States, Canada, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. In addition to AFP/DENT-X's distribution channels, AFP will also assume certain existing international distribution arrangements, previously established by Milestone in South Africa, Israel and certain other countries. AFP's extensive network of foreign distributors and representatives has generated one-third of the company's total sales in fiscal 1998.
