So how do you participate in this program? Easy. Just nominate nom·i·nate

1. To propose by name as a candidate, especially for election.

2. To designate or appoint to an office, responsibility, or honor.
 one or more assistant coaches for the AFLAC National Assistant Coach of the Year Award. You can use the nomination form sent to you with your school's nomination package or you can use a photocopy of the form (provided on this poster). Just make sure you send the completed nomination forms to us by the closing date of March 15, 2002. You can send your forms via the Internet (coachadguide.com), fax (212-343-6376), or standard mail (AFLAC Award, Scholastic Inc., 557 Broadway, 5th Floor, New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of

You can also use photocopies of the nomination form to encourage others to make nominations. Invite colleagues, parents, guardians, student athletes, and other athletic department supporters to participate. Display this poster in a highly visible location, such as the athletic department bulletin board. Make copies of the nomination form available to anyone interested in paying tribute to a great assistant coach.

This spring, AFLAC will honor 500 great assistant coaches--men and women involved in all sports, at both the high school and college levels. We expect thousands of nominations, so be sure to include as much detail as you can in support of your candidate(s).
