 AFL-CIO CONFERENCE ON COMMUNITY SERVICES ENTERS FINAL DAY
 The 30th National AFL-CIO Conference on Community Services continues with its third and final day of activity on Thursday, June 18, at the Regency Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, 265 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, beginning at 9 a.m.
 The conference is being attended by more than 400 AFL-CIO community activists from throughout the nation.
 Highlights of Thursday's session are:
 10:15 a.m. -- Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Hernandez speaks on
 the situation in that riot-torn city.
 11:30 a.m. -- United Way of America President Kenneth Dam reports
 on the current status of United Way.
 12:05 p.m. -- William Bywater, president, International Union of
 Electronic, Electric, Salaried, Machine and Furniture
 Workers, "Raising Hell When We Get Back Home."
 7:30 p.m. -- Murray-Green-Meany Award Banquet.
 AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Thomas R. Donahue presents
 1992 award for outstanding philanthropic service to
 humanity to Dr. Arthur Flemming, former secretary of
 Health, Education and Welfare.
