AFL Telecommunications Selects Pylon Electronics as Exclusive Canadian Repair Service Center for Fusion Splicing Equipment.

(Greek: “gateway”) In modern construction, a tower that gives support, such as the steel towers between which electrical wires are strung or the piers of a bridge.
 Electronics, Ottawa location, as its exclusive service center in Canada for Fujikura fusion splicing Fusion splicing is the act of joining two optical fibers end-to-end using heat. The goal is to fuse the two fibers together in such a way that light passing through the fibers is not scattered or reflected back by the splice, and so that the splice and the region surrounding it are  systems. Pylon provides a convenient service location for AFL's Canadian customers.

Pylon has completed a detailed Fujikura splicer splice

b. To join (ropes, for example) by interweaving strands.

 maintenance training program, and is certified to perform AFL's service plans on the Fujikura FSM-16S and FSM-40S fusion splicers and associated accessories in the Ottawa location.
