 glass production capacity by signing a joint venture agreement in principle with Vitro Plano, S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of Grupo Vitro, the leading glass producer in Mexico. AFG Industries, Inc., is one of North America's leading glass manufacturers, offering the greatest variety of products available from any flat glass manufacturer.

Under the terms of the joint venture agreement, AFG will work with Grupo Vitro to convert a container glass facility in Mexicali, Mexico, into a float glass Float glass is a sheet of glass made by floating the molten glass on a bed of molten tin.
