AFC team to assess facilities.


A DELEGTION from Asian Football Confederation's (AFC (1) (Application Foundation Classes) A class library from Microsoft that provides an application framework and graphics, graphical user interface (GUI) and multimedia routines for Java programmers. ) yesterday held four sessions with Bahraini officials during their four-day tour highlighting the 'Bahrain Vision' programme.

Yesterday's sessions were preceded by the opening ceremony during which BFA general secretary Ahmed Jassim welcomed the delegation members while Menton presented an introduction of the Bahrain Vision.

The AFC officials will have two sessions today with Education Ministry and BFA officials then will make a number of visits to inspect clubs from first and second divisions.

Two more sessions are scheduled for tomorrow with BFA staff and committees members while the fourth and last day will feature the evaluation of the assessment visit, to be followed by the closing ceremony.

The event is part of 'Vision Asia' project which is the AFC's grand plan for a continent-wide programme to raise the standards of Asian football at all levels.
