AF and TUV Nord Combine Forces to Create a Joint Enterprise in Nuclear Technology and Certification.

The AF Group subsidiary AF-Kontroll is to collaborate with German TUV (Technischer Überwachungs-Verein) Literally "Technical Watch-Over Association." A German certifying body involved with product safety for the European community.  Nord in creating a jointly owned (50/50) company to carry out third-party inspections of nuclear facilities. The new company will be named AF-TUV Nord AB.

Work will commence at AF-TUV Nord AB to coordinate activities within the two companies in areas such as the certification of quality and environmental management systems.
