AF & PA set to achieve recycling goals.


AF & PA SET TO ACHIEVE RECYCLING recycling, the process of recovering and reusing waste products—from household use, manufacturing, agriculture, and business—and thereby reducing their burden on the environment.  GOALS. The American Forest & Paper Association (AF & PA), Washington, D.C., USA has released three new brochures designed to increase paper recycling Paper recycling is the process of recovering waste paper and remaking it into new paper products. There are three categories of paper that can be used as feedstocks for making recycled paper: mill broke, pre-consumer waste, and post-consumer waste.  in schools, workplace, and communities interested in implementing new recycling programs or improving existing recycling programs. IN RELATED AF & PA NEWS: The association has launched three recycling awards to recognize individuals, businesses, and communities for outstanding recycling efforts. Some include cash prizes:

* The Ed Hurley Big Ed Hurley (played by Everett McGill) is a fictional character on the 1990-1991 primetime ABC series Twin Peaks. He runs the local gas station, aka "Big Ed's Gas Farm" and is an "unofficial" deputy.

He is married to Nadine, with whom he is clearly troubled.
 Memorial Paper Recycling Award was created to recognize individuals who have had a significant influence in advocating paper recycling.

* The 2005 AF & PA Business Leadership Recycling Awards will recognize businesses that increase paper recovery and recycling through educational, innovative, and cost-effective cost-effective,
