AF&Y Expands Production of Solution-Dyed Yarns.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- American Fibers and Yarns (AF&Y) announced it will accelerate its expansion of production of its solution-dyed Marquesa(R) yarns to support additional demand as a result of Solutia's decision to abandon the acrylic acrylic, artificial fiber made from a special group of vinyl compounds, primarily acrylonitrile.
