SPRINGDALE, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 2001

Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:AERTA AERTA Army Environmental User Requirements and Technology Assessments (US Army) ) announced that the Company will be exhibiting its growing line of maintenance-free composite building materials at the upcoming National Association of Homebuilders-International Builders' Show in Atlanta, Feb. 9-12, 2001.

The Company will formally introduce its new line of MoistureShield(R) CornerLoc(tm) exterior trim products at the AERT booth No. IW220 at IBS IBS Irritable bowel syndrome, see there , Georgia World Congress Center The Georgia World Congress Center or GWCC is the major convention center in Atlanta. It is the fourth-largest convention center in the United States at 1.4 million ft2 (130,000 m2) and hosts more than a million visitors each year. . Visitors can see the exhibition of their wood composite products with live demonstration, product literature and many knowledgeable sales and technical representatives.

In addition, AERT will also be displaying, featuring and demonstrating the ChoiceDek(R) decking line in conjunction with Weyerhaeuser in booth No. IW220. ChoiceDek(R) will also be on display in the Weyerhaeuser booth No. 6922.

The MoistureShield(R) CornerLoc(tm) exterior trim system composite material is manufactured under a patented process utilizing a combination of wood fiber and polyethylene plastic. The CornerLoc(tm) trim system is specifically designed to compliment fiber cement siding Fiber cement siding (FCS) is a building material used to cover the exterior of a house.

Fiber cement is a composite material made of sand, cement and cellulose fibers. In appearance, FCS most often consists of overlapping horizontal boards, imitating wooden clapboard; other
 as well as other conventional siding materials.

MoistureShield(R) composites have been extensively tested by independent test agencies, and when installed according to manufacturer's specifications, the composite will not rot, crack, split, check or absorb moisture. Fastener retention is excellent.

MoistureShield(R) trim boards are primed with an advanced coating and are ready for the job site finish. The tiecoat primer is compatible with latex or alkyd finish coats. The MoistureShield(R) coating system greatly enhances paint life and does not bubble or chip like conventional paint when continually exposed to the environment.
