Sales increased substantially over the approximate $2,000,000 for the comparable period a year ago. The $850,000 or 42% increase over the comparable period was attained primarily by the Company's initial Junction, Texas Junction is a city in Kimble County, Texas (USA). The population was 2,618 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Kimble CountyGR6. Geography Junction is located at (30.489772, -99. , facility, as the Company's new Springdale, Ark., facility was in a start-up phase during the quarter and did not contribute substantially to the increase. According to AERT President Joe G. Brooks, "AERT is currently under a substantial backlog of existing customer orders, and the additional extrusion capacity coming on-line from the new Springdale facility will allow our Company to positively address our customers' increased purchase requirements and allow AERT to continue to increase sales." "The AERT fourth composite extrusion line is now operational and lining out from a production standpoint.
