Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:AERTA AERTA - Army Environmental User Requirements and Technology Assessments (US Army)), a leader in wood composite technology, announced that the Company has recently received official notification from the United States Patent & Trademark Office of the upcoming issuance of its 15th U.S. patent.

The patent involves upgraded plastic recycling and processing technology currently being practiced at its Springdale, Ark., recycling facility.

Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. manufactures a growing line of composite building materials made from recycled polyethylene plastic and waste wood fiber. The Company's products are marketed under the trade names MoistureShield(R) and ChoiceDek(R) for the North American homebuilding market. AERT currently operates a composite manufacturing facility in Texas and a plastic recycling and composite manufacturing facility in Arkansas.
