AERT Class B Warrants Will Expire Feb. 12, 1999.


SPRINGDALE, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 12, 1999--The Board of Directors of Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:AERTA AERTA Army Environmental User Requirements and Technology Assessments (US Army) ) ("AERT AERT Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies, Inc
AERT Animal Emergency Response Team
") announced that it will not extend the expiration period for voluntary conversion of AERTZ warrants and any remaining warrants not postmarked by Feb. 12, 1999. As of this date all remaining unexercised B warrants will expire and be cancelled.

The Company allowed 206,751 Class D warrants to expire at the end of 1998. If no additional warrants are exercised, there will be an expiration of 3,431,770 Class B warrants. The Company has received $1,265,105.50 in voluntary Class B and C warrant conversions from July 5, 1998, to date, primarily from close associates of the Company.
