AEROQUIP NAMES RICK DUQUETTE VICE PRESIDENT - MANUFACTURING PERFORMANCE/CHIEF MANUFACTURING OFFICER

 MAUMEE, Ohio, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Aeroquip Corporation, a TRINOVA company (TNV: NYSE), has named Richard H. (Rick) Duquette vice president - manufacturing performance/chief manufacturing officer. In this newly created position, Duquette is responsible for implementing Aeroquip's worldwide manufacturing strategy. He also heads Aeroquip's Manufacturing Leadership Council comprising Aeroquip's senior manufacturing personnel. He reports to Howard Selland, executive vice president of TRINOVA and president of Aeroquip, and becomes a member of Aeroquip's Management Committee.
 Duquette, 47, most recently was vice president - manufacturing for Aeroquip's North American Automotive Operations (NAAO), a position he has held since February 1992. Prior to that he had been director of operations - injection division for NAAO, advancing to this position from operations manager. In 1985, when Aeroquip acquired Sterling Plastics Inc., a company Duquette joined in 1974, he was named chief engineer - manufacturing development of the newly formed Sterling Division. He held a series of other manufacturing positions within NAAO until being named director of operations - injection division in 1990.
 Duquette has attended Wayne State University in Detroit.
