 AER LINGUS ANNOUNCES NEW FARES
NEW YORK, April 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Aer Lingus, Ireland's national

airline, today announced new, low fares from over 50 U.S. cities for travel to Ireland between June 15 and Sept. 15, 1992.
Known as Greensaver Fares, they may be purchased now through May 27 and are valid for travel over the Aer Lingus New York (JFK) gateway to Shannon and Dublin, in conjunction with TWA connecting flights from each city. There is a minimum stay requirement of seven days with a maximum limit of three months. Penalties apply to changes or cancellations made after May 27, seats are limited and weekend surcharges apply.
Full details of all Greensaver rules and fare levels are available from travel agents nationwide or from Aer Lingus at 800-223-6537. Examples of roundtrip fares from selected cities, for midweek travel, to Shannon are:
 Chicago -- $769
 Cleveland -- $761
 Dallas -- $887
 Miami -- $851
 Baltimore -- $723
 Denver -- $823
 St. Louis -- $779
 Atlanta -- $815
 Los Angeles/San Francisco/San Diego -- $899
(Weekends, add $20 roundtrip; for Dublin, add $20 roundtrip)
An Aer Lingus spokesman, in announcing these new fares, commented that a significant rebound in traffic to Ireland was now evident for the early months of the 1992 travel season, as compared to the same period last year. The Greensaver fare initiative was an effort to encourage a continuation of this trend into the peak period of travel and was designed to offer prospective travelers living in major cities outside of the Aer Lingus U.S. gateways an opportunity to avail of significant air fare savings to Ireland.
