:AEP AEP - Application Environment Profile , one of the largest electric utilities in the United States, has selected Enviance as its system of record for Title V compliance and greenhouse gas reporting and inventory management.

Located in Columbus, Ohio, AEP owns or operates more than 36,000 megawatts of coal, natural gas, nuclear, and renewable fueled generating capacity. As one of the largest generators of electricity in the United States, AEP is committed to ensuring its power plants are in compliance with federal, state and local air regulations for SO2, NOx and particulates, and to reducing greenhouse gas emissions including carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrous oxide (N2O N2O Nitrous Oxide (dinitrogen oxide) ), methane (CH4), and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6).

As a leader in national efforts to address Green House Gas issues, AEP voluntarily participates in programs such as the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX (Cisco Compatible EXtensions) Specifications for makers of 802.11 wireless LAN chips for ensuring compliance with Cisco's proprietary wireless LAN protocols. For example, Cisco's LEAP and EAP-FAST are part of CCX.
