AEI Acquires Tipitapa Power Company and Grows Its Presence in Nicaragua.

 announced today the acquisition of Tipitapa Power Company Ltd., a Power Generation Company with operations in Nicaragua. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Roberto Figueroa, AEI Regional Manager for Central America Central America, narrow, southernmost region (c.202,200 sq mi/523,698 sq km) of North America, linked to South America at Colombia. It separates the Caribbean from the Pacific. , added that "the acquisition of Tipitapa complements AEI's existing operations and strengthens our presence in Central America, where we have a long history of successful operations and commitment to the development of the region."
