Leading Australian environmental firm joins AECOM's ENSR unit

LOS ANGELES & SYDNEY, Australia -- AECOM Technology Corporation (NYSE: ACM), a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for government and commercial clients around the world, has announced the acquisition of HLA-Envirosciences (HLA), an environmental health and safety consulting and engineering firm with 250 staff and nine offices across Australia.

HLA will be aligned with ENSR, AECOM's global environmental management business, which offers comprehensive environmental, health and safety services to industry and government clients worldwide.

ENSR and HLA will merge operations to provide greater project management depth, expanded technical expertise and seamless service delivery for clients worldwide. With more than 2,200 staff serving clients in offices around the world, the combined firm has a strong presence throughout the United States, Australia, Asia, Europe and Latin America.
