AECC releases statement on two-year colleges.


The Accounting Education Change Commission has released Issues Statement no. 2, The Importance of Two-Year Colleges for Accounting Education.

. The commission believes their involvement in accounting education change is critical to improving the overall quality of accounting education."

The issues statement encourages closer coordination between twoand four-year colleges in developing accounting curriculums. It says enhanced communication between accounting faculty and administratom at two-and four-year colleges is likely to increase the quality of accounting education at both levels.
