D'Olimpio, M.D., has been invited to give an oral presentation at the 2005 Annual Assembly of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM AAHPM American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine ) and Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) to be held January 19-23, 2005, in New Orleans, LA.

Dr. D'Olimpio will deliver an oral presentation entitled, "Efficacious Reversal of AIDS Related Anorexia/Cachexia Syndrome: Final Results of a Phase I/II Study Using a Novel Peptide-Nucleic Acid Complex." The presentation is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on January 22, 2005.

The presentation will report final results on the Phase I/II clinical trial of AVR118 in patients with AIDS. The 30-patient trial was conducted at the Kaplan Medical Center The Kaplan Medical Center (Hebrew: מרכז רפואי קפלן‎, Merkaz Refu'i Kaplan  in Israel in cachetic AIDS patients.
