ADVISORY/Youngsters Compete in "Football Frenzy" Kick, Pass and Punt Skills Competition Finals.

WHAT: The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and Pacific
Bell sponsor the second and final football skills
competition for kids between ages 7-15.
WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 8
10 a.m.-2 p.m.
WHERE: Rancho Cienega Sports Center
5001 Rodeo Road
Los Angeles
(South of the 10 Fwy. at La Brea)
WHO: Hundreds of kids will compete in three skills areas: kicking,
passing and punting. Sunday's winners will compete against
finalists from the Nov. 1 competition in a skills contest
before the start of the Nov. 21 UCLA-USC football game at the
Rose Bowl.
Former UCLA quarterback Matt Stevens, former offensive
lineman Tom Whitenight and other alumni UCLA players will be
on hand to provide skills training and tips.
WHY: The Football Frenzy event is one of a number of youth sports
events supported by the DWP to demonstrate its commitment
to the community and to the youth of Los Angeles.
