Xybernaut Corporation (Nasdaq:XYBR XYBR Xybernaut Corp (stock symbol) ), announced that it had received and shipped an order from Federal Express Corporation ("FedEx Express FedEx Express, based in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, is the world's largest cargo airline. It is a subsidiary of the FedEx Corporation and delivers packages and freight to more than 220 countries each day[1]. ") for Xybernaut's mobile wearable computers See body-worn computer.  for use in the FedEx Express Aircraft Operations Division. This order results from a pilot project started in January 1999 aimed at developing, testing and purchasing the mobile wearable computer best suited to FedEx's requirements. This initial order is valued at over $1.0 million in this first stage of deployment, the majority of which was shipped in December 2000.
