XtremeSpectrum today announced it will debut ultra-wideband wireless technology at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) via product demonstrations and key presentations during the CES conference program. The recently FCC-approved technology will enable wireless streaming of MPEG (Moving Pictures Experts Group) An ISO/ITU standard for compressing digital video. Pronounced "em-peg," it is the universal standard for digital terrestrial, cable and satellite TV, DVDs and digital video recorders (DVRs). 2 video and multiple HDTV (High Definition TV) A set of digital television (DTV) standards that offer the highest resolution and sharpest picture. Although some HDTV sets are available in standard (rather square) screen sizes, the overwhelming majority of sets are wide screen, which eliminates  channels.

Product demonstrations, featuring XtremeSpectrum's ultra-wideband technology, will be held by invitation only at the XtremeSpectrum booth during the show. This will be the first wireless broadcast of multiple HDTV channels and the first ultra-wideband demonstration in a consumer application.
