WHAT:
        The premiere of "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" is a
        charity event benefiting the United Friends of the Children.

        Prior to the World Premiere screening of "Scooby-Doo 2:
        Monsters Unleashed" there will be a concert event featuring
        performances by Simple Plan, Ruben Studdard (American Idol)
        and Big Brovaz. All three acts are featured on the "Scooby-Doo
        2: Monsters Unleashed" soundtrack which will be released by
        Warner Sunset/Warner Bros. Records on March 23.

        Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Mosaic Media Group Production
        of a Raja Gosnell film, "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed,"
        starring Freddie Prinze, Jr.; Sarah Michelle Gellar; Matthew
        Lillard; Linda Cardellini; Seth Green; Peter Boyle; Tim Blake
        Nelson and Alicia Silverstone. Produced by Charles Roven and
        Richard Suckle, the film is directed by Raja Gosnell, written
        by James Gunn, based on characters created by Hanna Barbera
        productions. The executive producers are Brent O'Connor, Kelly
        Smith-Wait and Joseph Barbera. The film editor is Kent Beyda,
        A.C.E.; the production designer is Bill Boes; the director of
        photography is Oliver Wood; and the music is composed by David
        Newman.

        United Friends of the Children was founded in 1979 by Nancy
        Daly Riordan to better the lives of foster children and
        support them in their journey to become successful,

        evil masked villain wreaks mayhem on the city of Coolsville
        with a monster machine that re-creates classic Mystery Inc.

        Scooby don far-out disguises as the gang investigates the
        mysterious monster outbreak.
