WHAT: The excitement is building! Ernst & Young will announce its Los
Angeles millennium winners for its 2000 Entrepreneur Of The Year
Awards.
WHO: 11 winners selected from 30 finalists, owners and founders of
fast-growing companies representing a wide diversity of
industries. All businesses must be at least two years old and have
two complete years of financial data. Local recipients were chosen
by a prestigious panel of community leaders representing business,
academia and civic organizations.
Regional winners announced on June 29 will go on to compete for
national honors, to be announced on Saturday, November 11 in Palm
Springs, California.
WHY: To recognize those companies and managers from within the
community who exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit of today's
thriving economy.
