WHERE: More than 1200 people are expected to party at the City of
       West Hollywood's Fat Tuesday celebration tonight, February 24,
       2004 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Rage nightclub, 8911 Santa Monica
       Boulevard. The City is partnering with Russell Harris Event
       Management, and Rage nightclub, to present this annual Fat
       Tuesday celebration. The event is free and open to the public,
       age 21 and over.

       Sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, the event will feature a live
       Zydeco band--Nervis featuring Eddie Baytos--performing in the
       parking lot and a DJ will spin music full time inside and
       between live sets. Go-Go dancers will also dance on towers and
       throw out beads and baubles. Genuine Cajun and Creole food will
       be available. A Mardi Gras King and Queen Contest will be held
       with winners in three classes: "Rhett" - best dressed male or
       impersonator; "Scarlett" - best dressed female or impersonator;
       and Best Couple. Contestants will all make grand entrances on a
       red carpet.

WHO: More than 1200 revelers; a live Zydeco band; Go-Go dancers;
     Mardi Gras King and Queen costume contestants and winners.
