WHAT: For the fourth consecutive season, the Los Angeles
Department of Water and Power (LADWP) has teamed up
with the Los Angeles Dodgers to offer the Power
Hitter Clinic and Competition. The clinic gives kids
ages 6-14 the opportunity to learn baseball
techniques from some of their favorite Dodger
players and coaches. Following the clinic, the
children compete in the hitting competition with
winners advancing to the finals at Dodger Stadium on
Aug. 11.

WHY: This is the second of five LADWP Power Hitter
