At Netro, Powell scaled revenues from $0 to $68.5 million in two years. Previously, Powell served as director of product management for Cisco's WAN Business Unit, which generated more than $600 million in revenue under his tenure. Powell came to Cisco through its $4.8 billion acquisition of StrataCom in 1997, where he spent nine years in senior sales management roles.
