           QUALCOMM's Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless(TM)
          (BREW(TM)) to enable customers nationwide to download
           entertainment, gaming, information, communications, and
           productivity applications onto their phones.

           Stratton also will discuss the role of mobile data in
           consumers' lives over the next few years, the types of
           applications that are available on wireless phones and on
           the Verizon Wireless network, how the launch of the
           carrier's national 3G network will enhance the wireless
           experience for customers throughout the United States, the
           company's strategy to working with software developers, and
           what's next for Verizon Wireless.
