Trading Card Photo Shoot, Autograph Hounds, Media Interviews Added

to Original Prize in Reality Show-Like Twist

WHO:

Fourteen winners of Upper Deck's "Swing with Tiger" sweepstakes. Flown to Orlando, Fla. for a free clinic with Tiger Woods, the participants will be surprised the morning of the event with an early wake up call -- followed by a grueling schedule, simulating what it's like to be Tiger for a day (see below).

Winners include a widowed 74-year old movie extra/ordained minister from Los Angeles, a South Bend, Ind. Vietnam veteran and Purple Heart recipient -- and two sports-collectible crazed teenage boys (a Portland, Ore. high school sophomore and a Detroit steel shop worker, 19).

WHAT:

The thrown-into-the-spotlight participants will be run through a gauntlet of promotional and on-course duties performed daily by the world's No. 1 player, including:

-- Power breakfast, weight training;

-- Apparel, footwear, equipment fitting and feedback;

-- A trading card photo shoot, with proofs to be approved at end

of day;

-- Continuous autograph signings in the form of behind-the-ropes

fans;

-- Media training, interviews, news conference.

WHY:

The goal of the event is to underline what Upper Deck has successfully done for the last 15 years: take the fan out of the stands, putting them in the shoes of their favorite athlete -- helping to capture for them the same on-field intensity.

Oct. 13, 2003; 6 a.m.-2 p.m. (8:30-10:30 a.m., actual clinic)
