As part of DSLcon's conference series, Marcelino Chua, director of product management, Unisphere Networks, Inc., will deliver a presentation entitled, "The Subscriber Management Challenge." This session will deliver an understanding of the pros of a single box wire-speed router and integrated subscriber management platform versus the cons of a discrete solution. Mr. Chua will focus on the important choice of architecture design for a large-scale broadband services rollout.

Who:

Marcelino Chua is director of product management for Unisphere's Management Center (UMC) product line. With more then 16 years of telecommunications experience, Mr. Chua has been instrumental in developing Unisphere's state-of-the-art Service Selection Center (SSC) subscriber management system. Prior to accepting his current position, Mr. Chua worked at Oracle Corporation. He served Oracle initially as Senior Consultant/Instructor and later as Technical Account Manager/ Sales Consultant, giving him extensive troubleshooting, support and training experience. Prior to that, Mr. Chua served as Director of Alliance Development and System Engineering at Technology Applications Incorporated, a customer care and billing applications provider for ISPs. There, he managed key accounts with Siemens and trained Siemens' technical sales groups to manage billing software deployment.
