WHAT: Sixteen technology companies from Finland, France, Australia,
Chile and the U.S. will vie for venture dollars at the Knapp
International Venture Funding Forum, sponsored by The
Anderson School at UCLA's Global Access Program. The program,
organized by the school's Global Access Program, has raised
$22 million for participating companies to date.
WHO: Anderson School fully-employed MBA students will present
business plans for these international companies, all of whom
are seeking to enter global markets, to a group of angel
investors and venture capitalists. The students, guided by
professors, were assigned to the companies to develop market
penetration strategies, funding plans, and operating business
plans as the capstone project for their graduate studies.
