Landon Donovan Landon Timothy Donovan (born March 4, 1982 in Ontario, California), is an American professional soccer player on the Los Angeles Galaxy, who is the joint all-time leading scorer for the U.S. National Team (along with Eric Wynalda). , who scored a header against Mexico to help catapult the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  into the quarterfinals of the 2002 World Cup, drops by the set of Fox Sports World's "Ticket to Asia" on Friday at 6:00 p.m. ET. His appearance comes two days after the set welcomed teammate and veteran mid-fielder Cobi Jones.
