South Network Simulcasts During Selected Thrashers Games

Tonight, the Atlanta Thrashers The Atlanta Thrashers are a professional ice hockey team based in Atlanta, Georgia. They are members of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). Their home arena is Philips Arena.  and Turner Entertainment Group will welcome hockey fans as they bring new, highly participatory programs -- featuring live interaction with players, audience polls, interactive trivia, and prizes -- to Internet audiences. The program debuts Nov. 17 at 7:30 PM Eastern time. Join NHL's first interactive Webcast by visiting www.atlantathrashers.com.

Turner Entertainment Group, a division of Turner Broadcasting System Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (often abbreviated TBS Networks or TBS, inc.) is the company managing the collection of cable networks and properties started by Robert Edward "Ted" Turner from the mid-1970s to the late-1990s. , Inc., is developing the 12-show series with Rotor (www.rotor.net), the LA-based interactive Internet broadcast technology company. The Rotor-powered Internet programs, called Cyber Ice, will be simulcast during 12 Atlanta Thrashers TV broadcasts on the Turner South network.
WHAT: Online Atlanta Thrashers Interactive Webcast -- Live NHL action The Cyber
Ice online programs will feature a mix of different interactive elements
presented to viewers via the Rotor Player (available for free at
www.atlantathrashers.com and www.rotor.net). The live Cyber Ice Webcasts will
feature: -- Real-time fan polls    -- Direct talk-back with participants,
players, coaches and management    -- An integrated Web browser    -- Specially
designed chat rooms that let viewers interact with other fans -- Capability to
directly influence the content of the program with real-time feedback WHEN AND
HOW:    -- The first Webcast is scheduled for Nov. 17, from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM
Eastern time.   -- Fans can join the live Webcast by going to
www.atlantathrashers.com; viewers are advised to log on 15 minutes before the
