It will be the first time in Orange County history that voters will be able to cast their ballots at polling stations before Election Day. Utilizing the county's new electronic voting Electronic voting (also known as e-voting) is a term encompassing several different types of voting, embracing both electronic means of casting a vote and electronic means of counting votes.  system, early voting will be open to the public from February 3rd - 22nd at sixteen locations throughout the County, including city halls and shopping malls.

County officials will also announce that the Registrar of Voters needs an additional 2,300 volunteers to work at polling places on March 2nd. 4,500 residents have signed up, but a minimum of 6,700 workers are needed.
