NOTE:          Decorating of floats that will adorn the 111th
               Tournament of Roses Parade ends today. The public is
               invited to view this process; admission charges vary by
               location. Children age three and under are admitted
               free.

               mobility-impaired.

FANFEST EVENTS

               TOURNAMENT OF ROSES MUSEUM & STADIUM VIEWING

TIME:          9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (PST)

NOTE:          Artifacts from the collection of the Tournament of
               Roses are showcased in this unique museum. Displays
               include historic photographs, multimedia presentations
               and interactive exhibits from the Parade and Game. A
               museum store features historical items. Admission is
               $4.00. Paid admission includes a pre-Game look at the
               Rose Bowl Stadium.

NOTE:          Fans young and old test their skills in a variety of
               football interactive games.

NOTE:         The Press Room will be open from Noon until 6:00 p.m.

              Wisconsin activities, current coach and player quotes,

              as well as schedule updates. Each school's press
              materials will also be available.

              The Work Room and Hospitality Rooms open at Noon until
              8:00 p.m. (PST) on December 26 and will be open daily
              from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on December 27 & 28 and
              8:00 a.m. to Midnight from December 29 through January
              1.

                  This will be final time the Head Coaches will be
                  available to the media prior to the 86th Rose Bowl

NOTE:             Three heroes of past Rose Bowl Games to be inducted
                  as the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame's Class of 1999.

                  Media attending will need to park in Lot K. For
                  media tickets to luncheon and Hall of Fame ceremony,

                  ext. 1322. Inductees will be available for
                  interviews immediately following the ceremony.

NOTE:             The 2000 Rose Bowl Game Players' Parents Reception
                  will recognize the parents and spouses of the
                  student-athletes from the Big Ten and Pac-10
                  Universities participating in the 86th Rose Bowl
                  Game. Each parent or spouse will receive a
                  commemorative badge. The Queen and Court will join
                  with City Council members, Pasadena Unified School
                  officials, Tournament of Roses officials, and
                  University of Wisconsin/Stanford administrators and
                  coaches to welcome and acknowledge all parents and
                  guests.

         SITE:    Washington Boulevard at Sierra Madre Boulevard

         NOTE:    Following the Rose Parade, floats are staged for
                  final public viewing. Visitors to this extremely
                  popular venue walk a 2.5-mile route to see the
                  floats and are advised to allow 4 hours for the
                  experience. Admission is $4.00 (or $2.00 with
                  shuttle from Rose Bowl -- available January 2 only).

                  Shuttle bus service to the Post Parade festivities
                  will be available on January 2nd only. Busses will
                  operate from 6:45 a.m. through 5:45 p.m., on
                  15-minute intervals.

                  Busses are equipped to assist persons with
                  disabilities.  Shuttle pick-up and drop-off at the
                  Post Parade viewing area is at the Washington Blvd.
