Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson, the writers of the critically acclaimed film Bottle Rocket present a new comedy, Rushmore, starring Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Olivia Williams and Brian Cox.

Rushmore chronicles a year in the life A Year in the Life was a one hour dramatic series which ran on NBC during the 1987-1988 television season.

The series actually began as a three-part miniseries which was first broadcast in December 1986.
 of Max Fischer (Jason Schwartzman), a student at Rushmore Academy, one of the finest school's in the country. Max loves his prestigious school. He is the editor of the newspaper and yearbook, founder of the Debate Team, Dodgeball Society, The Max Fischer Players, president of the French Club, German Club, Chess Club, and practically everything else. Max is applying for early admission to Oxford. Harvard is his safety. He is also one of the worst students in the school. Threatened with expulsion, Max begins his new pursuit, falling for a 1st grade teacher (Olivia Williams). But when Max's mentor, a tycoon (Bill Murray), starts an affair with the teacher, it triggers a war between Max and his friend.
