WHAT: Washington Mutual is once again partnering with the Kent
Senior Activity Center to sponsor a birthday party for
local seniors. In addition to its financial support,
Washington Mutual will also be providing volunteers to
host the event, escort seniors, serve food and clean up.
Picking up the beat of the festivities will be the Ozark
Music and Broom Company, a local blue grass group which is
returning by popular demand.
WHO: 250 local seniors are expected to attend, with
approximately half of them celebrating their birthdays
during the first three months of the year. The birthday
parties are held quarterly and have become popular events
for local seniors.
