ADVISORY/The Salvation Army to Benefit From 3rd Annual Rasheed A. Wallace Foundation Coat Drive.

ADVISORY...for Tuesday (Jan. 9)

EVENT:      The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia will be this
            year's recipient of the Rasheed A. Wallace Foundation
            Annual Coat Drive.  Philadelphia native Rasheed Wallace of
            the Portland Trail Blazers will collect coats for families
            receiving assistance from The Salvation Army.

            All contributors will receive autographed pictures of
            Wallace and other prizes.

            The Salvation Army will deliver the coats to men, women,
            and children in need throughout the Greater Philadelphia
            area.

DATE/TIME:  Tuesday, January 9, 2001
            2 - 4 p.m.

DETAILS:    The Salvation Army was founded 135 years ago as a
            religious and social services organization.  Since that
            time, the organization has taken a holistic approach to
            working with people, addressing their physical, emotional,
            intellectual and spiritual needs. The Salvation Army
            provides community supportive services, residential
            shelters, foster care, developmental disabilities
            programs, correctional services programs, child
            development centers, after-school care and Corps Community
            Centers.
