EVENT: The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia kicks-off the
50th Anniversary of the National Day of Prayer with
two special events.
Salvation Army Representatives Captain Jorge Diaz and
Rev. Bonnie Camarda join the Honorable John F. Street,
Mayor of Philadelphia, and area churches and businesses
for "Liberty Prayer Alert" - a prayer celebration for the
City of Philadelphia at City Hall.
Six Salvation Army officers have been invited to
participate in "Open Air Prayer in the Park" at Belmont
Plauteau - an open air meeting of prayer, song, and
scripture with representatives from area churches. The
meeting will be followed by a free concert with Hezekiah
Walker.
