"Thank You Reception" for its 2003 Hope for the Holidays
Campaign. The Salvation Army will honor a number of
volunteers and area businesses for their work during the
campaign.

Monies collected allowed The Salvation Army to touch the
lives of thousands of area residents.
The Salvation Army was founded 139 years ago as a
religious and social services organization. Since that
time, it has worked with people holistically, addressing
their physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual
needs. The Salvation Army provides community support
services, residential shelters, foster care, developmental
disabilities programs, programs for the incarcerated and
their families, child development centers, after school
care, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, services for senior
citizens, disaster response, and neighborhood corps
community centers.
