$100,000 in Scholarships will be Given Away

WHAT:     The Honorable Andrew Young, noted humanitarian and political
          leader, will deliver the keynote address at Apostolic Church
          of God's Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner. Nearly 400 guests
          are expected to attend this year's noteworthy event where
          $100,000 in scholarship funds will be distributed.

WHY:      Apostolic Church of God, under the leadership of Bishop
          Arthur M. Brazier, is strongly committed to providing
          financial support to students seeking higher education.
          Eighteen outstanding high school and college students will
          be awarded scholarships ranging from $2,000 - $10.000.

          The scholarship program is one of many outreach programs and
          ministries of Apostolic Church of God that services their
          membership of more than 16,000, as well as community
          residents. The church's worship service is televised every
          Sunday at 8:00 a.m. on WCIU-TV. A radio Bible class is
          broadcasted every Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. on WYCA/92.3FM.
