events such as the GRAMMY Foundation's Concerts for Young
People afford many children their first opportunity to
experience live music and to learn about its history.
This year, we are infusing a Leonard Bernstein lesson into the
program. The GRAMMY Foundation's Leonard Bernstein Center for
Learning is a K-12 comprehensive school improvement model and,
through professional development, it prepares teachers to use
the arts and the artistic process to reinforce teaching and
learning in all subjects.
