Notes: The 1,700 active members of the Guild selected the
       nominees for outstanding makeup and hair achievements in
       motion pictures and television during 2003. 800 entertainment
       industry celebrities, professionals and guests will attend the
       2004 gala black tie optional event, at which 19 awards will be
       presented including seven for achievements in motion pictures,
       nine awards for achievements in television, one award for live
       theatrical performance, and three for lifetime achievement.
