Address the Members and Guests at the 75th Anniversary Dinner of The
Economic Club of Chicago
WHAT: This 299th Dinner Meeting of the The Economic Club of
Chicago is the kick-off to the 75th Anniversary program year.
This dinner will replicate the first dinner held at the Palmer
House 75 years ago. Wednesday evening's event will feature
heads of the same organizations as on the dais of 1927 - the
Presidents of: The First National Bank, Northwestern
University, and Charles A. Stevens & Bros. We are honored to
have the Chairmen of Bank One Corporation, Northwestern
University, and Sears, Roebuck and Company address this
historic occasion.
WHO: The Banker - Jamie Dimon, Chairman and CEO, Bank One
Corporation (formerly First National Bank of Chicago), the
nation's sixth largest bank holding company with assets of
more than $265 billion.
The Educator - Henry S. Bienen, President, Northwestern
University, elected the 15th President of Northwestern
University on June 13, 1994.
The Merchant - Alan J. Lacy, Chairman & CEO, Sears, Roebuck &
Company, the 14th CEO in Sears' 116-year history.
