WHAT:  The Los Angeles Downtown Center Business Improvement District
       (DCBID), in partnership with Chrysalis Streetworks, the
       Department of Recreation & Parks, area social service
       organizations and local businesses, will host its 2nd Annual
       Community Outreach Fair to provide resources to the homeless
       and economically disadvantaged individuals in Downtown Los
       Angeles. In conjunction with the Fair, a Downtown Community
       Clothes Drive will also be held, inviting businesses and
       professionals in the area to donate clothes and shoes.

       The DCBID Community Outreach Fair will provide FREE health
       screenings, job training information, employment counseling,
       housing assistance, and social security services, as well as
       free toiletries courtesy of Chrysalis Streetworks and the
       Millennium Biltmore Hotel. Booths for each participating social
       service organization will be set up to enable counselors to
       speak with individuals one-on-one, and a FREE meal will be
       offered after each health screening.

       As part of the successful BID A.C.T.I.O.N. Program, the
       homelessness outreach initiative that was awarded for special
       achievement in social services by the International Downtown
       Association, DCBID's Purple Patrol officers and safety and
       ambassador service teams, along with area Missions, have
       publicized the event to the homeless community. Last year, more
       than 300 individuals attended the Fair to take advantage of the
       resources made available.

WHEN:  WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th from 11 AM to 2 PM
       FREE and Open To The Public

WHERE: Pershing Square
       Located at 532 South Olive Street (5th & Olive in Downtown Los
       Angeles)

WHO:   The DCBID is a coalition of property owners united in their
       commitment to enhance the quality of life in Downtown Los
       Angeles. The organization helps the 65-block central business
       district achieve its full potential as a great place to "live,
       work and play." Nearly 480 property owners provide funds to the
       district via a special voluntary tax assessment, which funds
       this outreach program.

       Additional participants in the 2nd Annual Community Outreach
       Fair include the Clinica de Oscar Romero, Chrysalis
       Streetworks, Los Angeles County Department of Health Services'
       Central Health Center, Midnight Mission, SRO Housing, Downtown
       Mental Health Services, Homeless Healthcare of LA, P.A.T.H.,
       Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, Social Security
       Administration, and the Veteran's Administration.
