          to learn new cooking tips and skills, ask questions of top
          local chefs, and taste new treats that will stimulate your
          taste buds and your culinary creativity. Plus, don't miss
          the Celebrity Cook-Off between well-known local
          personalities. These folks claim they can't cook, so the
          event is sure to be a hit!  The Cooking Show sponsors
          include Connecticut Culinary Institute, Delia, The Hartford
          Advocate, IGA, Intermezzo Magazine, Princess House, The Vine
          Times, Wild Oats, Kiss 95.7, 105.9 The River, and
          Country 92.5.

WHO:      Highlights of The Cooking Show chef demonstration schedule
          include Crescent Dragonwagon, David Rosengarten and
          Connecticut Culinary Institute Chefs Bruno Neveu and Jamie
          Roraback, as well as national and New England food, wine,
          cooking and kitchen-related businesses.

WHERE:    Connecticut Expo Center, Hartford, CT

WHY:      This show was born out of a love for cooking and food,
          socializing, and a desire to build a community from the many
          businesses that touch these topics. Where else can you go to
          learn new recipes, taste new foods, and get ideas for food
          and wine pairings, spring brunch, southwestern style
          cuisine, vegetarian cooking, chocolate and food from around
          the world, all in just 2 days? And we simply can't forget
          the presentations that will spark all kinds of ideas
          Memorial Day cook-outs and picnics.

          Plus The Cooking Show is a community-oriented event, and a
          donation will be made to Foodshare of Hartford
          (http://www.foodshare.org). In addition, there will be a
          canned food drive for extra door prize entries.
