WHO/WHAT: The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, based in Calabasas,
Calif., will prepare and serve Thanksgiving Day dinner for
450 homeless and low-income individuals and families,
including the 350 residents of The Salvation Army's Bell
Shelter program. Chefs and staff of The Cheesecake Factory
Incorporated, including Chairman and CEO David Overton,
will prepare and serve the meal at Bell Shelter.
Located in a 50,000-square-foot former warehouse in an
industrial area of Bell, The Salvation Army Bell Shelter
operates a four-phase social services program that
includes an emergency shelter, skills training,
transitional housing and substance abuse recovery for 350
homeless men and women.
WHEN/WHERE: Thursday, November 28th - Thanksgiving Day
