process of affixing the first flowers.
The back-to-back Rose Parade Sweepstakes Trophy winner, Rain
Bird Corporation, begins decorating their 55ft long, 36ft high
2003 Rose Parade float entry titled "Water Wonderland," with
thousands of flowers and floral arrangements, a task that
requires over 10,000 cumulative hours for completion.
Annual "carnival-like" celebration to include festivities,
activities for kids, live elephants, giraffes and zebras, a
special appearance by the Rose Parade's most recognized, award
winning float designer Raul Rodriguez, and the 2003 Rose Queen
& Court.
