Tellium (Nasdaq:TELM) announced today that Dr. Nico Wauters, the company's sales engineering director for Europe, will speak at IIR's WDM (1) (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) A technology that uses multiple lasers and transmits several wavelengths of light (lambdas) simultaneously over a single optical fiber.  & Metro Optical Networking Communications between computers, telephones and other electronic devices using light. About Nico Wauters

Dr. Nico Wauters is Tellium's sales engineering director for Europe. He joined the company as a senior network engineer in November 2000. Before joining Tellium, Dr. Wauters worked for GTS GTS

Dr. Wauters holds a Ph.D. in telecommunication engineering from the University of Gent.
